# Source, media and rights ledger

**Reviewed 29 September 2026.** The governing source is the [QCAA Visual Art 2025 v1.3 PDF](https://www.qcaa.qld.edu.au/downloads/senior-qce/syllabuses/snr_visual_art_25_syll.pdf), January 2026; the [QCAA subject page](https://www.qcaa.qld.edu.au/senior/senior-subjects/syllabuses/the-arts/visual-art) displayed v1.3 on this date. Unit 1 *Art as lens* begins printed p 22; its areas of study run from printed p 23. Search can still show older v1.2 text, so version is part of the audit. We paraphrase requirements and do not redistribute official pages or exemplars.

**Media inventory note:** This pack provides **six** regular aids: observation window, line lab, crop window, abstraction ladder, material test and sequence board. The folio trace is a text/lesson template in the learner page, not an additional SVG/PDF. Fresh G/H sheets are separate check stimuli. All vector paths and arrangements are created for this pack. No photos, scans, AI-generated imitations, First Nations motifs or third-party artwork assets are included.

**Care and community boundary.** The material route uses clean paper, ordinary pencils and low relief from torn strips; teacher checks local safety and accessibility. Do not ask students to disclose identity, trauma, religion, community knowledge or family context. First Nations art and languages require artist/community authority, accurate provenance and permission before adapting any form, motif or story. We do not publish a simulated First Nations example. Students may analyse a linked source with its maker's attribution without copying it.
