# Complete text and tactile alternatives for five original A4 aids

Each [SVG/PDF](../README.md#print-and-access) is original. The PDFs are one-page A4 vector pages with selectable text; the SVGs have titles/descriptions. These alternatives give the **meaningful words, layout order and blank fields** without requiring colour, a printer, sight or a device. A teacher can draw raised lines with a safe classroom tactile method or let a learner direct a partner. The poster is a fictional source; do not treat the large headline as a verified real result.

The largest central words are **“18 SIGNS”** and **“UPRIGHT AT CLOSING!”**. Medium text: “We tried 24 folded paper table signs. A second small trial could help us choose a fold.” Lower, pale bounded panel says “READ THE LIMIT TOO. One indoor table test. Keep all three in order.

Upper left has **24 empty squares, four rows of six**; upper right has blanks `24 = ____ × ____` twice, `23 is ____`, `25 is ____`. Lower panel says “ONE WHOLE = all 24 signs tried” and “Mark 1/4, 1/3, 1/2 and 3/4 on one 0–1 line.” A single horizontal blank line begins at `0` and ends at `1`; **no fractional answers are plotted**. Beneath it: “Source fact or proposed allocation? Label each mark. Explain one comparison using the same whole.” Tactile alternative: arrange 24 equal counters in a 4-by-6 rectangle; use a raised cord or ruler from 0 to 1 and equal paper strips of halves, thirds, quarters. Place **8/24** only with the label **hypothetical retest allocation**.
