## Curriculum source of truth

The exact content-description wording, code, level and workbook row in [the crosswalk](CURRICULUM-CROSSWALK.md) are read from the locally pinned Australian Curriculum v9 import at `products/curriculum-studio/data/frameworks/acara-v9.json`. Its [official ACARA workbook](https://www.australiancurriculum.edu.au/content/dam/en/curriculum/ac-version-9/downloads/curriculum-workbook.xlsx) was retrieved **29 September 2026**, source SHA-256 `db446882d2c00cf7c085a03e250e2442fda6c44011fc114680c46c1dc7a822c3`. [ACARA copyright/terms](https://www.australiancurriculum.edu.au/copyright-and-terms-of-use) govern copied curriculum wording; core curriculum text in the import is marked CC BY 4.0 with exclusions to check. We do not imply ACARA approval or use its logo. State and territory implementation choices must be checked locally; this pack is a national v9 crosswalk, not a promise of state-specific compliance.

The [QCAA Australian Curriculum v9 Science page](https://www.qcaa.qld.edu.au/p-10/aciq/version-9/learning-areas/p-10-science) and [QCAA Years 7–10 Media Arts sequence PDF](https://www.qcaa.qld.edu.au/downloads/aciqv9/the-arts/curriculum/ac9_arts_media_arts_yr7-10_cd_sequence.pdf) were used as official secondary navigation checks for the Science and banded Arts selections. The pinned workbook remains the exact-row source. No v8 wording or unofficial lesson marketplace was imported.

## Fact, arithmetic and representation review

- The cards and labels are **fictional classification inputs**. The mathematical statement “8 of 10 safe under this full-descriptor criterion” applies only to the listed invented cases. It is not a field accuracy, biological species, ancestry or biodiversity claim.
- `8/10=0.8=80%`, `10/10=100%`; the same-set difference is **20 percentage points**. A separate held-out check uses `7/8=87.5%`, `8/8=100%` and **12.5 percentage points**. The denominator and criterion must travel with any claim.
- `72=2³×3²=8×9`; optional `48=2⁴×3=16×3`; fresh check `96=2⁵×3=32×3`; after-check practice `90=2×3²×5=2×9×5`. Version 1's error is a missing complete-trait verification plus an overbroad mixed-edge branch.
- Fictional Day18 cap arithmetic: `$25−$18=$7`; `$25−$24=$1`. Fresh check arithmetic: `$30−$22=$8`; `$30−$27=$3`. Possible benefits have **not** been measured. Opportunity cost is the next best forgone possible benefit **under a stated ranking**, not simply the price.
- Visual edge strokes and flowchart scaffolds are supplementary. Complete words and trace order are in [text alternatives](print/TEXT-ALTERNATIVES.md); colour, shape and font are not the only way to read any answer. The PDF pages are A4 and keep selectable text.
