# Layered eight-beat cue · text and tactile route

The original four-second cue has **eight evenly spaced pulses**, each 0.5 seconds apart. Layer A is a lower soft tone on beats **1, 3, 5, 7**. Layer B is a higher soft tone on beats **2, 5, 8**. Beat 5 contains both tones together. Text grid:

Tactile route: eight numbered tiles in a row; place one lower-texture marker for A and one higher-texture marker for B, with two markers on tile 5. Volume should be comfortable; do not require listening. The cue is original synthesised tones, not a copied recording or learner performance. A student may create their own quiet vocal, tapped or assistive-device layers.
