# Complete text and tactile versions of the three A4 aids

All critical wording, order and labels are here. A screen reader, neutral read-aloud, sign/AAC script, large print, numbered tactile cards or learner-directed scribe can use these routes without looking at colour or arrows. Print the SVG/PDF at A4 100% if wanted. A neutral reader describes the source; the learner chooses the connective, referent or inference. The boards are **original editing supports**, not evidence that any real event happened.

The page shows **four vertical numbered cards**, joined by downward arrows. Their complete words are:

1. **Actor + action:** “At 9:20, the crew moved the arrow.”
2. **Warranted link:** “because a table blocked the door view.”
3. **Clear reference:** “The sign change = the move above.”
4. **Bounded ending:** “A second arrow was added; its effect is unknown.”

At the bottom: “Test a connective: time • reason • contrast • result: which is supported?” The arrows mean **reading order**, not automatic cause. A tactile route places four large numbered/text-labelled cards in a line and reads each in order; choose a separate token labelled *time*, *reason*, *contrast* or *result* only after citing a source line. At top: “A noun can summarise an action. Check what it hides.” Example: actor/action “The crew moved the arrow.” Then useful short reference “The move / the sign change (after action is clear).” Below are four numbered blank prompts: **Who acted? What happened? Which summary noun names that action? What does the source NOT establish?** A tactile version uses one labelled card per question; place the exact source words beside the actor/action cards, then put a summary-noun card **after** them. If no actor is given, use an `unknown actor` card rather than inventing one. An abstract noun can support literary interpretation, but “improvement” cannot prove a report outcome without evidence.

Top line: **Source / audience**. Left panel: **Before: exact draft words**, seven writing lines. Right panel: **After: your revision**, seven lines. Reading order in text-only mode is top line → before draft → after revision → edit checks. The five lower checks are: **1 Actor/action named? 2 Reference has one clear anchor? 3 Connective shows a supported link? 4 Outcome or interpretation honestly limited? Effect on intended reader?** A tactile route uses two labelled folders/cards, *before* and *after*, with the learner's sentences read in each; five numbered question cards follow. This is also a complete audio/AAC script template and requires no recording.

If a visual detail such as the arrow, column or colour cannot be perceived, the same information is carried by numbered words above. Record neutral access support separately from a content hint.
