These are additional invented adult reading situations, never staged with a child or used as child tests. No family answer/record/return or score is required. If chosen for adult first discussion, read only these neutral situations before the separate descriptive answers.
A · Before the adult could answer
A child gave a known direction for a quiet adult story event. Before it was told, a movement occurred whose meaning the adult did not recognise. The adult told the previously agreed event anyway and wrote, “The child chose another story turn and completed a turn-taking sequence.” What facts support that sentence? What should the adult do next?
B · Imagined and actual changes
A toddler clearly directed “my pretend wheel makes a cloud”. The adult narrated the fictional cloud and moved a suitable real toy on their own initiative. The child then gave a known no. The adult wrote, “The child changed the toy by testing a cause and learned that wheels make clouds.” What needs separating? What response is useful now?
