All pages are optional adult reference. No child picture/mark/response is required. Paper remains adult-held away from mouth/reach. No screen, print, cutting, new object, worksheet or record. Reading order is title, body, labelled panels, no-print route and footer. Empty panels are not completion tasks.
p1 · P1 · One event, an honest answer
Purpose: Help a parent choose an adult response without completing a worksheet or record. Three equal panels: ACTUAL EVENT / KNOWN MESSAGE OR UNCLEAR / USEFUL ADULT ANSWER. An unfilled fourth optional margin label YOUR PRESENT IDEA has no response blank to complete.
P1 · One event, an honest answer Adult reference only. No worksheet, child picture task or record is required. Start with wanted ordinary play. Say one useful thing, if welcome. A known message can guide your answer. Unclear means pause, not permission. Your answer can be help, less talk, quiet availability or stopping your contribution. No reply, record or repeat is owed. ACTUAL EVENT KNOWN MESSAGE OR UNCLEAR USEFUL ADULT ANSWER YOUR PRESENT IDEA — optional reminder; nothing to fill in. Use this single spoken/signed adult reminder: “What happened? What do I genuinely know? What is useful now?” Answer privately in thought, or simply stop an unclear optional offer. It does not require a child question or a written answer. © NeuroForgeIO Pty Ltd 2026 · SubjectNest · Original computer-assisted text/layout CC BY 4.0 https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/
Geometry: Three equal vertical panels; optional idea reminder is only a label. No child movement arrow.
Complete no-print route: Use this single spoken/signed adult reminder: “What happened? What do I genuinely know? What is useful now?” Answer privately in thought, or simply stop an unclear optional offer. It does not require a child question or a written answer.
p2 · P2 · Who did which part?
Purpose: Separate decisions and operators in a familiar item or story activity. Three equal original boxes: CHILD IDEA / ACTUAL CHILD ACTION / ACTUAL ADULT HELP. A separate dashed outline reads UNMADE IDEA, with no completion arrow. No child body is drawn.
P2 · Who did which part? Adult reference only. No worksheet, child picture task or record is required. Name only what occurred. A child may choose while an adult acts. Adult work stays adult work. An imagined event is not a physical try. Help is freely available. No demonstration, swap or independence proof is required. CHILD IDEA ACTUAL CHILD ACTION ACTUAL ADULT HELP UNMADE IDEA If useful, say “That idea was yours; I moved the item,” or “We kept it imagined,” only when those facts are known. If idea authorship is unknown, keep it unknown. No observation log or forced spoken response follows. © NeuroForgeIO Pty Ltd 2026 · SubjectNest · Original computer-assisted text/layout CC BY 4.0 https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/
Geometry: Three equal actor/decision/help boxes and separate dashed unmade-idea box. No completion arrow.
Complete no-print route: If useful, say “That idea was yours; I moved the item,” or “We kept it imagined,” only when those facts are known. If idea authorship is unknown, keep it unknown. No observation log or forced spoken response follows.
p3 · P3 · An event can have more than one change
Purpose: Original adult illustration clarifies the I11/I14/I17 distinctions. One labelled ADULT EXAMPLE panel shows a broad intact abstract toy outline first resting, then shifted/turned after a single drawn ADULT CONTACT. A separate UNOBSERVED CAUSE panel has no contact arrow and a question mark labelled CAUSE UNKNOWN. The drawing is a schematic invented example, not an infant instruction, measured trial or expected outcome.
P3 · An event can have more than one change Adult reference only. No worksheet, child picture task or record is required. Only describe changes you actually saw. Contact, movement and turning are different observations. One event may have several effects. A cause you did not see can remain unknown. A look does not prove intention or understanding. Do not ask for a repeat to fill a gap. ADULT EXAMPLE — invented, not measured BEFORE AFTER ADULT CONTACT Shown here: one adult contact, followed by shift and turn. UNOBSERVED CAUSE — no contact arrow ? CAUSE UNKNOWN Only use observations actually available in your own moment. No repeat is owed. When appropriate to an existing real event: “I saw contact and the item moved. I did not see that other cause.” Use only the parts actually observed. With no object/current physical event, choose an ordinary communication route and make no object-motion claim. No experiment needs to be manufactured to illustrate the aid. © NeuroForgeIO Pty Ltd 2026 · SubjectNest · Original computer-assisted text/layout CC BY 4.0 https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/
Geometry: Known adult example panel: first abstract broad toy before contact, matching toy shifted/turned after; one arrow labelled ADULT CONTACT. Separate unknown-cause panel has question mark and no arrow. Original invented schematic, no scale, force or real child action.
Complete no-print route: When appropriate to an existing real event: “I saw contact and the item moved. I did not see that other cause.” Use only the parts actually observed. With no object/current physical event, choose an ordinary communication route and make no object-motion claim. No experiment needs to be manufactured to illustrate the aid.
p4 · P4 · Our story; our agreement
Purpose: Support T17–T20 without supplying the child's consequence. Two broad blank original panels labelled OWN FICTIONAL EVENT / CHOSEN NEXT EVENT sit beside a separate ACTUAL AGREEMENT box and NOT YET USED label. The adult can describe rather than draw; the panels are optional space, not two products to complete.
P4 · Our story; our agreement Adult reference only. No worksheet, child picture task or record is required. Your story can change what happens. Nothing needs to happen physically. We can agree one available adult answer, if both want. An agreement may stay unused. Check a meaning once; unclear means pause. Either person can stop their contribution. OWN FICTIONAL EVENT — optional blank space CHOSEN NEXT EVENT — optional blank space ACTUAL AGREEMENT — only if genuinely known NOT YET USED — an agreement may remain an idea. Use a wanted own fictional event through usual communication. Ask “What happens in your story?” only if welcome. Follow one known meaning; an adult seed stays adult-supplied. No story today is a complete route. No supplied page, written agreement or memorised rule is needed. © NeuroForgeIO Pty Ltd 2026 · SubjectNest · Original computer-assisted text/layout CC BY 4.0 https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/
