National scope

ACECQA approved learning frameworks identifies EYLF V2.0 (2022) for young children from birth to five under the National Quality Framework. This pack targets adult-supported pretend play roughly ages 3–5; it is not an infant/toddler programme or school curriculum. Informal home play has no claimed service compliance status. Services must check and follow the approved framework and local requirements that apply to them. This pack does not establish that compliance.

The EYLF online guide and its learning outcomes overview describe broad observable outcomes, context and varied developmental paths. The ten invitations are selected opportunities, not a linear developmental sequence or complete evidence for any outcome.

Selected opportunities

Primary locator, paraphrased Original activity connection Evidence and boundary
Outcome 4: curiosity, imagination and learning dispositions. Starts 01–02 let the child choose a place and a visitor's purpose. Notice actual decisions and engagement; adult-created scenes alone provide no child evidence.
Outcome 4: inquiry and problem-solving processes. Starts 03 and 05 offer a route or fictional change and an optional pretend try. Distinguish a proposal, actual play action and real material test. No automatic problem-solving mastery.
Outcome 4: carrying ideas across contexts and using available resources. Starts 07 and 09 offer a changed scene or another representation. Credit only the actual child's meaning and action, with adult support attributed. Transfer is conditional, not inferred from matching pictures.
Outcome 5: communication for purposes through varied modes. Starts 04 and 08 offer messages and one-part guides. A familiar point, sign, AAC or speech can carry a meaning; no compulsory speech or independent reading claim.
Outcome 5: meaning through media and contextual symbol systems. Starts 04, 06 and 09 use agreed messages, grouping meanings and representations. An own mapping needs an available meaning. Supplied artwork does not establish child authorship or universal symbol knowledge.

The optional helper can supply an image seed for a child-owned story. No digital-technology outcome is inferred from its presence, an adult's operation or an unexplained tap. No motor, spelling, reading, emotional-regulation or clinical outcome is assessed by these materials.

Play and adult intentionality

The EYLF practices include responsiveness, contextual learning and purposeful play. The ACECQA play and intentionality information sheet describes child choice and adult-supported shared thinking, with distinct examples for different ages. Here, adults offer one useful question, help make a chosen idea and follow the child's direction. This design is an interpretation; the source does not endorse this pack or prove its benefit.

What was verified

Complete relevant official indexed HTML sections were read, including the outcomes overview, Outcome 4, Outcome 5, practices and the play information sheet. Their current page URLs and headings above provide the locators. The approved-frameworks page was also checked. No remote PDF byte hash, layout, permanent version snapshot or official endorsement is claimed. The item manifest binds this pack's actual files, not the changing websites.

State and territory service frameworks, local pedagogy, accessibility, cultural authority and human pacing require contextual review. No Queensland kindergarten, school Foundation code, all-state compliance, translation fluency or First Nations-language coverage is asserted. Do not invent community stories, designs, language or permissions to expand the pack.
