Primary-source factual checks
- Bureau of Meteorology water assessments reports Australian water resources, variability and uses. Our catchment and neighbourhood maps are invented schematics, not observations of an Australian site. Do not infer water safety, local supply or access from them.
- British Museum: Early Egypt supports the narrow claim that Nile flooding helped create fertile land for ancient Egyptian farming communities. The lesson paraphrase identifies the museum as a modern secondary source. No museum image or text passage is copied; no claim is made about all ancient Egyptians or other ancient societies.
- Parliamentary Education Office: separation of powers supports the simplified Parliament/executive/judiciary roles in the civics cards. The fictional school assembly is not an actual constitutional or legal process.
- ACCC consumer rights and guarantees is the current official source learners are directed to for real consumer questions. The invented “guaranteed forever” flyers cannot establish a legal entitlement or specific remedy. No purchasing or complaint advice is given.
- eSafety Commissioner: consent for sharing photos and videos informs the no-real-photo, ask-permission, respect-no approach. The fictional voice/image requests collect no personal data.
- CDC guidance on choosing water filters confirms that filter functions differ and filtration alone does not establish all harmful substances are removed. The sand-water filtrate in this pack is never for drinking; appearance is not a safety test. The cited page is used for this narrow safety correction, not as an Australian treatment protocol.
Science’s food-web, particle and force cards are invented classroom models; filtration uses only teacher-approved clean material under school lab rules. Actual local organisms, water systems, historical artefacts and laws need their own verified sources and permissions. Historical First Nations content-description rows about continuity, culture, knowledge and heritage are not claimed by this pack. A future addition would need First Nations authority, cultural and intellectual property review, appropriate Country/Place permissions and provenance.

No third-party photo, song, map, cultural design, translation, code dependency, logo or child information is embedded.
Scope and safety holds
These are ten optional 12-minute blocks in each of five areas, not the full weekly subject allocation, a state/territory sequence, year-long coverage, endorsed resource or measured outcome. Science, Geography, History, Civics and Economics descriptions are official Year 7 records; HPE, Technologies and all five Arts subjects use the official Years 7 and 8 band. Practical making, physical participation, Arts performance/presentation, filtration and general-purpose programming are claimed only when actually observed under school conditions. A diagram, script, score, trace or paper plan is labelled accordingly. No state-specific legal advice, local ecosystem/catchment, First Nations knowledge/language, translation or classroom effectiveness is claimed. Teacher/school reviews for safeguarding, equipment, access, privacy and local curriculum remain required.
