Choose one extra practice after the main lesson, and after the fresh check on Days 175/180. Adult reads rich words; the child chooses mode. Each day has two worked swaps from different everyday domains for the same target. They are fictional or paper-only; no family disclosure, purchase or real-space dispute is required.

Day Worked swap A Worked swap B Look for / teacher move
171 Community library model: two paper characters want one broad display board, one for a story and one for labels. Answer: both wants are stated; whether sharing works is not. Paper market: one character wants a counter for toy fruit shapes, another for price-card sorting. Answer: describe each wish without declaring one more deserving. Child cites both source lines and names one unknown; offer character cards if views blur.
172 Bus-stop model: “Move the paper bus sign” gives no request/other view; “Could I move the paper sign after your turn? I need a clear route” does. Answer: latter gives ask and reason. Sports badge model: “I hear you want the paper badges first. Could we choose an order?” Answer: it acknowledges other view while asking. Child can disagree respectfully; fairness depends on actual response, not politeness alone.
173 Toy kitchen: propose alternating one wide paper tray; answer: “both got a turn” is still unknown until tried. Art-wall model: propose two separate broad paper panels; answer: whether both displays fit is still to check. Child keeps proposal and result in separate fields and asks an answerable check question.
174 Library shelf: first “we share”, edit “could we each use one paper shelf?” Answer: a listener can tell what is being requested. Paper football field: first “my turn”, edit “could I use the broad field mat after your turn?” Answer: order becomes clear. Save exact child first/revised message; adult supplies print only with attribution.
175 After check only, puppet ticket table: two fictional users suggest separate corners; ask what to check after trying. Answer: whether each had enough space, still unknown. After check only, toy ferry deck: a proposed turn plan needs both users' response. Answer: a smile drawing alone does not show consent. Do not reuse the held conversation before its first record.
176 Shop awning border: broad triangle/triangle/circle repeated; answer: repeat unit triangle, triangle, circle. Train-seat pattern: square/circle repeated three times; answer: unit square, circle. Child names order and repeat; a colour pattern is not required.
177 Map display: “put the square under the circle” is clearer than “put it under there”. Answer: shapes and relation are named. Toy house: “place triangle to left of square” and “put circle above square” allow a paper model. Answer: left/above require orientation to be agreed. Child repairs one missing referent or location, then checks listener placement.
178 Scarf border: adult deliberately builds circle/square/circle from vague “same shapes again”; child revises to “square, circle, square” if that is the intended source. Answer: order is named. Library drawer label: listener puts triangle below; child had meant above. Answer: add “above the square” and keep first words. Record actual listener action, or label an adult simulation as model.
179 Paper garden edge: child teaches square/square/circle repeated, then revises an omitted “repeat”. Answer: final six shapes unambiguous. Toy bus roof: child teaches triangle above square and circle beside square; listener asks “which side?” Answer: revise to right/left after orientation is agreed. Keep meaning, punctuation and child-selected spelling separate; peer spoken-delivery code only if spoken to peers.
180 After check only, paper menu border: new circle/square/square strip; child states repeat unit and precise next step. Answer: circle, square, square. After check only, toy theatre mat: ambiguous “put it next” repaired to “put one triangle after the square”. Answer: shape and relation named. Use different shapes/order from held check for new practice.

Family option: A five-minute paper dialogue or broad-shape direction is enough. An adult can ask “What did each person say?” or “Could I build this from your words?” and accept speech, point, AAC or drawing. Family may decline; no home-conflict account, real sharing dispute, device, printer, photo or upload is required. Original SubjectNest practice © 2026 NeuroForgeIO Pty Ltd, CC BY 4.0.
