Every person and room is invented. You can point, speak, sign, use AAC, draw or direct an adult to mark your exact idea. You do not have to tell anyone about your family, a real celebration, home, special place or Country/Place. A/B/C are switchable same-target routes, not fixed learning styles. Adults can read the full linear source words. Home ideas are free and optional.
Day 41 · Sketch question
Shared target: Ask what Source A locates and what it cannot show about a real room.
- A · Mark: Trace the drawn tray at centre; draw one question bubble A can answer and another marked REAL SOURCE?.
- B · Say/AAC: Ask where A puts the tray, then ask if the drawing proves a room exists and explain why not.
- C · Direct: Tell an adult to set BENCH / TRAY / BOARD on three broad regions; leave a REAL ROOM card blank.
Home: Invent a paper toy room, then say what its drawing does and does not prove.
Day 42 · Feature model
Shared target: Record all three locations on a pictorial model and name A as the source.
- A · Mark: Draw a bench with legs left, a deep tray centre and an upright board right.
- B · Say/AAC: Tell an adult the three positions on A and check their drawing against your words.
- C · Direct: Point to each pictured shape and direct an adult to place large feature headings in left/centre/right order.
Home: Draw three large pretend furniture shapes and tell a toy where they are on the page.
Day 43 · Rafi's request
Shared target: Ask one question B answers and one about a result it cannot answer.
- A · Mark: Underline “would like”; put a question mark beside the not-yet-shown picture label.
- B · Say/AAC: Ask what Rafi wants, then ask whether a label was placed and say B cannot tell.
- C · Direct: Direct an adult to put B under REQUEST and leave COMPLETED CHANGE empty.
Home: Ask a toy for an invented paper label; asking alone does not make one appear.
Day 44 · Request, plan, unknown
Shared target: Attribute Rafi's request and Mara's plan; keep the dashed future label out of RESULT.
- A · Mark: Put B and C in REQUEST and PLAN regions on the mat; leave reported placement blank.
- B · Say/AAC: Say “Rafi would like ; Mara plans ; we do not yet know ___.”
- C · Direct: Ask an adult to touch the dashed rectangle, then direct them to write PLANNED, not DONE.
Home: Make a toy-room plan with a dashed change and explain why it is still only a plan.
Day 45 · Fresh Check A
Shared target: Use the new Sage Room sources to locate, sort and name what remains unknown.
- A · Mark: Use broad fields to mark each new source and one question the packet leaves open.
- B · Say/AAC: Describe the drawing, name who said each quoted idea and ask one question.
- C · Direct: Direct an adult to arrange broad source headings, then point to the exact words for your own answer.
Home: After your first check response is collected, invent a different later note that could answer one question.
Day 46 · Before and later
Shared target: Put B/C on Story Day 1 and D on Story Day 2 with Ivo's name.
- A · Mark: Draw a two-stage timeline with B/C together and D later; write or draw EFFECT? underneath.
- B · Say/AAC: Narrate Rafi's request, Mara's plan and what Ivo later wrote, naming each speaker.
- C · Direct: Tell an adult to lay broad B/C pages under DAY 1 and D under DAY 2, without inventing within-Day-1 order.
Home: Tell a toy a two-day invented plan and a separate later report; no actual visit is needed.
Day 47 · Report and effect
Shared target: Say what Ivo reports in D and ask an unanswered question about whether the label helped.
- A · Mark: Circle Ivo's label sentence; add UNKNOWN USE by a blank response box.
- B · Say/AAC: Finish “Ivo wrote ; he did not say whether .”
- C · Direct: Direct an adult to put LABEL SEEN under REPORT and FINDING TRAY EASIER under UNKNOWN.
Home: Have a toy report one invented change and leave whether it helped unanswered.
Day 48 · Rafi and Uma
Shared target: Match each view to its speaker and avoid speaking for everyone.
- A · Mark: Connect Rafi to label/tray and Uma to board/bench; add OTHERS UNKNOWN.
- B · Say/AAC: Tell what each person likes or prefers and name that these are their own views.
- C · Direct: Direct an adult to place two large name cards beside exact quotes and correct an attribution if needed.
Home: Give two toys different made-up views of a paper model; neither stands for all toys.
Day 49 · Careful place story
Shared target: Tell a source-labelled request/plan/report and one view, then ask what a real care claim needs.
- A · Mark: Fill the mat with B/C/D and draw a question in EFFECT UNKNOWN.
- B · Say/AAC: Narrate “B asks, C plans, D reports, E says ; I still do not know .”
- C · Direct: Tell an adult where to lay B/C/D/E and dictate one short source-labelled sentence for each kind.
Home: Optional wholly fictional paper-room story. No real family or place account is required.
Day 50 · Fresh Check B
Shared target: Use new Horizon Room sources to map, sort, attribute and limit a conclusion.
- A · Mark: Mark the pictured positions, sort the written sources by type and add one open question.
- B · Say/AAC: Tell a source-labelled before/later story and what Jae and Mina each prefer.
- C · Direct: Direct an adult to place five broad source headings and point to exact evidence for your conclusion.
Home: After the check, invent another view about a paper pocket; no family interview is needed.
