This local plan uses the QCAA Australian Curriculum v9 Prep Music achievement standard/content alignment. QCAA Music v9 identifies Prep as Queensland's Foundation year. ACARA's v9 Arts overview includes dynamics and expression among Music's elements; ACARA's Music examples of knowledge and skills offer listening, composing, performing and safe-practice examples. Neither authority prescribes our V/S score or this fortnight.

Exact code and strand Official content description Opportunity and evidence limit
AC9AMUFE01 · Exploring and responding “explore how and why the arts are important for people and communities” Conditional Day 89 real-work inquiry: name a locally authorised work/maker/source and ask about its source-described use, then record the child's actual response. Our made-up cue cannot evidence this code. Held until encountered.
AC9AMUFD01 · Developing practices and skills “use play, imagination, arts knowledge, processes and/or skills to discover possibilities and develop ideas” Read, compare and revise V/S dynamic shapes through play. Score reading/planning is observable; hearing a difference or controlling volume is a separate event. Partial.
AC9AMUFC01 · Creating and making “create arts works that communicate ideas” Child authors a four-event dynamic score and states an intended expressive idea. Save their first score. Sound production and received meaning are separately observed. Partial.
AC9AMUFP01 · Presenting and performing “share their arts works with audiences” Optional chosen score or approved sound may go to a real willing person. Save recipient/medium only after receipt; an offer, puppet rehearsal or private practice is insufficient. Held until actual sharing.

The Foundation achievement standard describes responding to arts works encountered at school, home and/or in the community and using play, imagination, knowledge, processes and skills to create and share in different forms. Checks W/X are formative prompts, not grades or whole-standard coverage. Visual shape, real sound, comfort and community meaning require distinct evidence. Queensland Prep adaptation is primary; other Australian jurisdictions should check their local school timetable, permitted sources, access needs and curriculum implementation before use. No automatic state equivalence or international translation is claimed.
