These are invitations, not homework or an assessment requirement. A child may pass. No family needs to buy materials, take/send photos, collect living things, reveal private information or conduct a physical test. A family can talk, point, sign, use home language, AAC, drawing or a broad tactile card. A response is not submitted or published. If a family does safely observe something together, it remains their experience; it is not a verified school investigation unless the school later checks source, date, method and permissions.
