1. Make a fictional route

Move a paper token between the three places. A learner can put tactile labels on three cards in order, select AAC symbols, dictate a route, or draw one. The map is fictional and never asks for a home or real school location. For a solo route, the learner can hide the map, hear/read the directions, then test with a token.
2. Explain a count to a reader

Use counters, paper tags, words, drawings or AAC. Adult can record a dictated explanation, noting that it was dictated. This is a blank planning aid; do not put held-out assessment numbers or teacher answer words on a learner copy.
