These are invented situations for learning. You never need to share family finances, belongings, disability or identity. A teacher can read prompts neutrally; you may use large print, a screen reader, tactile cards/line, drawing, pointing, speech, sign/AAC, typing or a person who writes your exact words. Show the mathematics and name the whole or unit. Choose one A/B/C practice route on ordinary days. The Day 15/20 routes come after their new checks.

Day 11 · Keep the fraction unit

Use the same whole to show 1/2+3/8 and 5/6−1/3. Give equivalent names before combining or removing parts. Check whether the result fits between 0 and 1.

Day 12 · Decimal places have jobs

Add fictional lengths 4.75 m and 2.60 m, then subtract the total from 10.00 m. Estimate first and use an inverse to check.

Day 13 · Part of a part

Represent 3/4 of 2/3 with an area model and a multiplication sentence. Explain why the product is smaller than each fraction here.

Day 14 · Which operation fits?

Work out how many 0.6-unit intervals fit into 2.4 units. Then compare with finding 12.5% of a named whole. Give a unit and a check for each.

Day 15 · Fresh check

Your teacher gives an unseen rational-operation check. Show a method and a reasonableness check. The D15 routes are later practice.

Day 16 · End with prime leaves

Make a factor tree for 60 and 84. Every final leaf should be prime. Use a small exponent to show repeated prime factors and multiply back to check.

Day 17 · Read the exponent

Two different trees for 72 should end at the same prime product. Explain why 2³ means 2×2×2, then evaluate the full product.

Day 18 · Share a prime factor

Factorise 90 and 150. Find their shared 2×3×5 product, then explain why 90/150=3/5 without crossing out unrelated digits.

Day 19 · Square and root undo each other

Use a 12-by-12 square to explain 144 and its positive square root. Match this with prime powers; check a root by multiplying the proposed side by itself.

Day 20 · Fresh check

Your teacher gives a new prime-power and root check. Stop a factor tree only at primes; test a proposed root by squaring it. The D20 routes are later.

Before handing in: Is the whole/unit named? Is an estimate sensible? Did I check an inverse/product? Are all prime-factor leaves prime? Does a proposed square root square back to the original number? Original SubjectNest prompts © NeuroForgeIO Pty Ltd 2026, CC BY 4.0.
