Ten minutes · movement / turn-taking. You need: A comfortable clear space. Sit or stand facing each other; no actual mirror is needed.
Play: One person makes a small movement, such as lifting a hand or turning a toy. The other answers by copying, changing it or inventing a new one. Swap who leads when the child wants. Pausing is also a move.
Adult says: “What should I do next?” “Was my move the same as yours?” “Want to lead or watch?” There is no requirement to copy exactly.
Child chooses: Body or toy movement, size, pace, role and when to stop. They can direct your movement by gaze, gesture, sign or words.
Notice: How did they invite a turn, change an idea or signal a pause? Avoid judging coordination or performance.
Access and safety: A finger, eye movement, toy motion or adult-assisted gesture can lead the game. Stay within comfortable movement range; do not force stretching or balance tasks. Use a quiet version without music. No screen is needed.
