Offer A/B/C to any learner on any day. These are choices for this moment, not fixed learning styles or ability groups. Read the complete original sources aloud. Use broad secured cards, large print, braille, AAC, pointing, signing, a private conversation or an adult scribe. No one must touch, move physically, make sound or share publicly. Paper composition and actual movement are recorded separately; a paper puppet is not a willing human audience.
Day 11 · Offer an idea
- A: Tell or sign: Choose OPEN, WAIT and a third shape, then say what the invitation might communicate.
- B: Place cards: Arrange three broad marks and direct an adult to read the child's chosen idea.
- C: Private source read: Hear Ada's full line and identify her purpose, then choose a different opening and answer on paper and state your own purpose.
Day 12 · Answer differently
- A: Explain: Tell what Bo changed from Ada's TURN and make another answer of your own.
- B: Side-by-side: Place two broad score strips beside each other and mark a changed direction, quality or pause.
- C: Private response: Hear Source B, direct an adult to draw a different answer, and point to the change and your intended idea.
Day 13 · A wait leaves room
- A: Describe: Put a WAIT between offer and answer and explain why the maker chose that position.
- B: Move a label: Place a broad PAUSE card into one of two paper strips and compare them.
- C: Private read: Identify where Source A waits, choose a placement in your own offer-and-answer score, and explain why; no body freeze is required.
Day 14 · Choose sharing
- A: Ask or decline: Use a paper puppet to rehearse asking, hearing no and accepting it, then make your own share-or-private choice; a real audience remains optional.
- B: Order choices: Put ASK, YES/NO/NOT NOW, PRIVATE/SHARE on broad cards, then choose how your own idea might be shared or kept private.
- C: Private maker choice: Tell an educator whether to keep the work private, share with a willing person or wait; no reason is needed.
Day 15 · Fresh Case I
- A: Spoken or signed: After first neutral read, answer all teacher-held questions with an original paper answer.
- B: Point/AAC: Use broad new-case labels for the same questions while an adult records the first independent choice.
- C: Private read: Hear Case I quietly; point to its marks and maker purpose, make a different answer with your own intention, and distinguish puppet rehearsal from a willing real audience.
Day 16 · Smooth start
- A: Describe: Make a broad smooth paper line and tell the intended idea, without copying a Science object test.
- B: Direct a mover: Guide an adult's paper mover along a smooth line and identify it as paper/adult action.
- C: Private source read: Hear Source D, choose your own smooth paper line and purpose, and state what remains unknown about any human movement.
Day 17 · One change
- A: Revise: Keep the opening line and choose a different direction or quality for one part, naming the change.
- B: Compare strips: Use two broad paper versions to point to the changed field and dictate a maker intention.
- C: Private trial: Ask an adult to draw your chosen revision; point to the changed part and state your intention. Any physical movement remains safe, optional and separate.
Day 18 · Place a pause
- A: Explain: Choose pause-first or pause-last, then tell a purpose different from or like Source E's makers.
- B: Move broad PAUSE: Put the marker before or after a line and show how the two paper scores differ.
- C: Private source read: Identify both Source E intentions, make a new pause choice and give your own purpose without a body hold.
Day 19 · Maker and actual audience
- A: Respond: If the original teacher demo was actually performed, name the maker's stated purpose and one detail truly noticed; otherwise label paper score only.
- B: Source cards: Place MAKER, PURPOSE, SCORE, ACTUAL PERFORMANCE and AUDIENCE cards against what was actually sourced or occurred; say the maker's stated purpose.
- C: Private choice: Identify the maker and stated purpose from the paper or real demo, then share one original idea with a willing educator or keep it private; distinguish actual from imagined response.
Day 20 · Fresh Case J
- A: Spoken or signed: After first neutral read, make a changed paper flow phrase and answer the teacher-held questions.
- B: Point/AAC: Choose broad new-case marks for the same questions while an adult records the first independent choice.
- C: Private read: Hear Case J quietly; place the pause, make a different revision with your own intention, and separate paper, actual performance and audience response.
