The official ACARA v9 workbook, retrieved 29 September 2026, is pinned by SHA-256 in source-snapshot.json. Local import removes workbook markup; description wording below is verbatim. The QCAA v9 Design and Technologies entry and combined Prep Technologies alignment PDF establish the Prep applicability and school-selected-context boundary; they do not prescribe this fortnight.

Exact code Workbook row Area · subject · level Verbatim official content description This pack's sample and claim boundary
AC9TDEFK01 19725 Technologies · Design and Technologies · Foundation Year explore how familiar products, services and environments are designed by people Partial/conditional. Days 11–15 and 19 examine fictional page, help-service and table-layout choices; a child names designer/user/purpose and can compare a school-approved real familiar source if supplied. Fictional cards alone do not prove an actual familiar local product/service/environment was explored.
AC9TDEFP01 19733 Technologies · Design and Technologies · Foundation Year generate, communicate and evaluate design ideas, and use materials, equipment and steps to safely make a solution for a purpose Partial/conditional. Days 13–20 provide two ideas, reasoned choice, safe steps, optional actual broad-paper fold/turn/revision and a fresh stop-gate transfer. Actual observed material action/result must be recorded before claiming making/testing. Plan-only and child-directed adult routes evidence thinking/participation but do not automatically show independent physical handling.

The public formative checks are fresh relative to routine cases and have a public teacher-targeted key; they are not secure exams. A test's unsuccessful or NOT TRIED result is a legitimate observation, not a lower score for the child. Week 4's page turning or marker movement is not, by itself, evidence for the separate Science/HPE/HASS descriptions in the integrated year plan. The school approves the real context/materials and judges achievement; this partial fortnight does not establish complete Foundation achievement or all subject content.
