The props, cart, puppet and datasets are fictional. Choose A, B or C and switch whenever helpful; these are not fixed learning styles. You may point, speak, sign, use AAC, draw or direct an adult. All routes aim at the day's same data task. A school-approved device is optional; no device is needed for the full paper task. The teacher separately records actual running-system use or NOT OBSERVED. No real name, face, voice, address, account or upload is requested. Home ideas are free and optional.
Day 11 · Three forms, one source
Shared target: Show PANEL, TUBE, PANEL, BLOCK with four physical tokens, matching pictures and P T P B symbols.
- A · Move/mark: Put four broad safe tokens on the three-way mat, then draw the silhouette and letter for each.
- B · Say/AAC: Direct an adult's token placement and say each picture and agreed letter in source order.
- C · Tactile/direct: Use four large textured token spaces; direct an adult to draw each icon and letter, checking positions 1–4.
Home: Invent a four-card paper prop list and show it with broad marks; no device or purchase.
Day 12 · Count and position
Shared target: Show two PANEL entries at positions 1 and 3 and restore source order from a changed symbol row.
- A · Move/mark: Use four broad tokens/pictures to repair P P T B into P T P B; mark positions 1 and 3.
- B · Say/AAC: Tell an adult which source picture belongs at each position and explain why counts alone are not enough.
- C · Direct/touch: Trace four numbered broad regions, direct letter placement and point to TUBE at position 2.
Home: Reorder four invented toy labels on paper, then use the source to put them back.
Day 13 · Repair the puppet copy
Shared target: Compare source P T P B with puppet P T B B, change one position and justify it from the picture source.
- A · Move/mark: Point to position 3 on both rows, move a large P card onto puppet B and recheck all four.
- B · Say/AAC: Tell an adult “third picture is PANEL, so third symbol is P”; direct the correction.
- C · Tactile/direct: Feel or hear source/copy positions one by one, direct an adult to change only the third card, then confirm each position.
Home: Let a toy make a harmless wrong paper copy and show how to check it.
Day 14 · Neutral and empty personal category
Shared target: Link a neutral PANEL object/picture/P symbol and identify one empty own-data category without giving its value.
- A · Move/mark: Place a broad PANEL token, point to its nested-square picture and P, then mark MY NAME EMPTY privately.
- B · Say/AAC: Explain the PANEL picture is fictional prop data; choose an empty MY FACE PHOTO or MY VOICE RECORDING category by name only.
- C · Direct/touch: Direct an adult through the broad neutral prop link, then point privately to one empty potential own-data placeholder.
Home: Tell a puppet why a blank box can name a category without containing anyone's real value.
Day 15 · Fresh Check A
Shared target: Use the new Paper Shape Depot to represent four entries, repair a copy and select an empty own-data category.
- A · Move/mark: Use four broad physical tokens, draw/point to the four new pictograms, add letters and correct one puppet position.
- B · Say/AAC: Direct token placement and picture/symbol order; tell the source reason for the repair and choose only the empty category.
- C · Tactile/direct: Direct an adult through four large positions and an exact letter change, then point to the blank category without giving its value.
Home: After first responses are collected, invent a different four-icon paper source for a puppet.
Day 16 · Checker purpose
Shared target: Explain the source/copy check and identify input, display and running software as a possible digital way to do it.
- A · Paper/mark: Use the system drawing and broad P/T/P/B cards to name what a keyboard and screen would do; complete the copy check on paper.
- B · Say/AAC: Tell the purpose and direct a paper correction; if a device is approved, point to actual input/output while using it.
- C · Actual device if approved: Control an accessible input in the offline checker to switch or check; explain actual hardware/software/purpose. The paper route remains available.
Home: Ask a toy how a paper copy could be checked; no home device is required.
Day 17 · Change and recheck
Shared target: Fix the third symbol in the fictional copy and show that all four positions then match.
- A · Paper/mark: Move a broad B out of copy position 3, put P there and compare source/copy 1–4.
- B · Say/AAC: Direct an adult through the four-position paper correction and state why position 3 changes.
- C · Actual device if approved: Use keyboard/switch/pointer to change the copy and press CHECK in the offline checker; explain the source match. The same paper route is always available.
Home: Make a four-letter puppet copy on paper and ask which position differs from your source.
Day 18 · Picture, symbol and physical object
Shared target: Keep the four fictional entries while changing picture/symbol views and distinguish a physical token from its depiction.
- A · Move/mark: Put real broad tokens beside drawn pictograms, then overlay P T P B; point to what stayed PANEL at positions 1 and 3.
- B · Say/AAC: Explain “screen/print picture of a token” versus “physical token,” then direct picture↔letter change on paper.
- C · Actual device if approved: Switch picture/symbol views in the offline checker, while keeping broad physical tokens beside the device. State source order; paper remains available.
Home: Draw an invented object and put a safe large token beside it; say which is physical.
Day 19 · Neutral display with an empty placeholder
Shared target: Share a source-faithful neutral prop display and keep potential personal values blank.
- A · Move/mark: Place broad PANEL/TUBE/BLOCK token/picture/letter links and leave MY NAME/PHOTO/VOICE empty.
- B · Say/AAC: Tell an adult which source picture backs one symbol and why an actual own-data value is unnecessary.
- C · Tactile/direct: Direct a broad two-form display and choose an empty personal category privately without filling it.
Home: Make a toy label key with fictional props only; no family or child data.
Day 20 · Fresh Check B
Shared target: Use the new Paper Form Drawer to represent, correct and select an empty own-data category.
- A · Move/mark: Place four broad physical tokens, match pictograms and letters, then repair the puppet's new copy.
- B · Say/AAC: Direct all four source positions, give the mismatch reason and choose a blank personal category.
- C · Tactile/direct: Use four large positions with adult movement on your exact directions; identify the correction and leave any real value absent.
Home: After first responses, invent one more paper prop source and deliberate copy error.
