Offer the route that works now; a child can change it. These are equivalent for each day's source-based grouping/representation target, while actual device exploration and physical-object handling remain separately observed. They are not fixed learning styles. Use broad safe physical tokens, large illustrated pictures, tactile outlines, printed words/symbols, pointing, AAC, child-directed adult movement, neutral reading/scribing or pass. Record the actual route and help, not presumed independence. A screen image is a picture, never the physical object form. A paper route does not prove a running-system action; record AC9TDIFK01 NOT OBSERVED without an actual child-controlled device session.

Day Physical/tactile object route Large picture/print route AAC, directed-adult or optional digital route
21 Match five broad badge stand-ins to source IDs; set a raised ? on hidden border. Point to visible circle/triangle and solid/dashed marks on A source. AAC or direct adult to name known fields and state “border not shown” for ID 5.
22 Move physical IDs 1–5 into broad shape bays, guided by the source. Draw/point to circles 1,3,5 and triangles 2,4. AAC or direct adult to place each and give source-backed reason.
23 Regroup the same tokens under SOLID/DASHED/CANNOT TELL. Trace source borders and place picture labels in new bays. AAC or directed placement preserves ID 5 as unknown, then names changed question.
24 Align one real physical badge token with its drawn picture and code card. Use D three-form mat to identify where an object would need to go; select an empty own-data category. AAC/directed adult places physical token, picture and code; leave name/face/voice values blank.
25 Independently sort new physical check tokens by two rules and show one object/picture/symbol match. Use A fresh pictures, large group mats and a tactile unknown marker. Point/AAC/dictate first complete A groups and one three-form link; pass allowed.
26 Place P/Q/R/S broad physical stand-ins beside story outcome cards. Match E record's original pictorial HELD/SLIPPED/NOT TESTED labels. AAC or direct adult to represent an entry, keeping R untested.
27 Move P/S to HELD, Q to SLIPPED, R to NOT TESTED bays. Draw/point to source-backed outcome groups and display title. AAC/directed adult lays out all four with an explicit source citation.
28 Build a broad physical-token display and a tactile legend for another reader. Draw a titled H/SL/? key and keep source ID alignment. AAC/directed adult makes the child-chosen display and records any actual reader response.
29 Use the paper equivalent with physical badges and rule bays. Choose a rule on a printed source, compare feedback key privately, keep own-data blanks empty. Optional approved running sorter via actual child-controlled input; record K01 separately, or AAC/directed paper route.
30 Independently place K/L/M/N physical tokens into three outcome bays; connect one token to picture/symbol. Use B fresh source pictures and blank own-data categories without filling values. Point/AAC/dictate complete B grouping, three-form match and category choice before feedback.

Paper, tactile and directed-adult routes can show reasoning and representation. They cannot by themselves show child-controlled digital hardware/software use, a real living feature, an actual material test or private-data consent.
