This pack works without any real child, family or community source. If a school wants to extend the inquiry with an actual familiar object, event or place, a teacher first identifies the exact curriculum knowledge claim, the source owner, what the source can actually establish, and whether the child has a safe non-disclosure option. Use a school-approved setting and consent process; do not place personal details, images, voice recordings or addresses in the public pack. A child's choice not to share is never a deficit.
For AC9HSFK01, use a family-inclusive, school-approved route that respects carers, kinship diversity, adopted/foster or other arrangements, and privacy; do not infer relationships or birth/raising places from names or photos. For AC9HSFK02, do not assume a shared celebration; a locally appropriate public community source may be offered where it genuinely matches the description. For AC9HSFK03, actual familiar-place features, meaning, belonging and care require the relevant person's own account and approved observation; a planned action is not an observed outcome. Hold the relevant knowledge claim when evidence is absent.
For AC9HSFK04, first identify the school's actual Country/Place with locally recognised First Nations cultural authority and school protocol. Request permission for any local names, language, stories, images, audio, maps or teaching advice. Record whose authority was consulted, approved use, wording, attribution, audience and review date. Generic “Aboriginal culture,” invented Country/Place details or machine translation cannot replace local authority. If the proper review is unavailable, hold the relevant knowledge claim and retain only the generic source-skill rehearsal. Never ask a child to speak for a community.
If replacing fiction with a real source, keep the provenance: who made it, when, why, whose perspective, consent and limits. Separate a request/plan from a reported or observed event. Retain the original first response and any assistance privately; share only under school policy. Neither this pack nor its verifier grants a school permission to publish child work or local knowledge.
