Teacher copy: This page may include teaching prompts or answer keys. Answer keys in this public library can be viewed by anyone. Give learners a clean prompt, use checks as formative evidence, and change a case locally when prior access matters.

Use plain A4 paper, a thick pen and broad drawn icons or adult-cut cards large enough for local safety and access needs. A child can point, speak, sign, use AAC, direct an adult or draw marks; none must cut, handle loose pieces, hear sound or disclose a personal preference. The print aids are reusable; their pale fills do not carry the answer. Put one source item beside one count mark. Reset a set before re-sorting it. All source sets below are invented, not observations of a real collection.

Day Exact supplied practice source Given question or claim to test Helpful aid
181 P181: ten broad library-label pictures, 6 BOOK, 4 MAP. Mix face up. Given: “In these ten supplied labels, which picture is more common?” sort mat
182 P182: twelve paper garden-sign pictures, 5 SUN, 7 CLOUD. Given: “Which sign picture has more in this packet?” one-to-one board
183 P183: ten fictional route-sign pictures: 2 BUS+STAR, 4 BUS+PLAIN, 1 BIKE+STAR, 3 BIKE+PLAIN. These yield 6 BUS/4 BIKE and 3 STAR/7 PLAIN. Given separately: “Which vehicle icon is more?” and “Which mark is more?” Use the same ten cards, reset between sorts. This says nothing about anyone's travel. two-way card sheet
184 P184: eleven pretend theatre cue pictures, 8 TRIANGLE, 3 CIRCLE. Given: “Which cue picture is more in the sheet?” sort mat
185 Fresh Check A only; see child prompt and teacher-managed print. Do not use its source icons or quantities in practice or swaps. Given in the check. Check A picture sheet
186 P186: fourteen broad blank paper boxes in a single source set; a separate claim card reads 15. “Does the claim card match the exact supplied boxes?” Recount without creating/removing a box. recheck mat
187 P187: 7 widely spaced identical paper dots in row A; 11 closely spaced identical dots in row B. “Does the longer-looking row always have more here?” Pair or count the items. one-to-one board
188 P188: fictional display starts with 5 wide square stickers; 3 are added. Separate claim card reads 7 at the end. “Does the shown result match a fresh add-to model?” Preserve the start and added sets. change-model mat
189 P189: fictional paper parcel starts with 8 broad tokens; 2 are visibly taken away. Separate claim card reads 5 left. “Does the shown result match the remove model?” Put removed tokens in a named OUT area. change-model mat
190 Fresh Check B only; see child prompt and teacher-managed print. Do not use its source quantities or claim in practice or swaps. Given in the check. Check B model sheet

Source discipline: The source is the supplied card/mark set for that task, not a claim about the wider library, weather, travel, stage or class. If a piece goes missing or is doubled, reset the source and recount; do not score a changed source as a child error. A pair comparison needs each object used once. Addition/removal needs a visible start and change, not an answer guessed from the printed claim.

After each day: Keep only anonymous educator notes such as “paired one-to-one”, “recited without tracking” or “checked by regrouping”. Store any actual child work privately under school policy, never in this public pack.
