Each cell gives an invented source, a question and the worked result. Use a case after the main lesson or as drawn no-cost home play. They are not compulsory extra sessions and do not replace fresh checks. All picture data questions are given by the adult and support claims only about the exact supplied drawing. Physical length results require same-scale printing or a single drawing. Teacher can swap nouns while keeping count/shape relationships exact.
| Day | Worked swap 1 | Worked swap 2 |
|---|---|---|
| 191 | Fictional sky-chart dots: Count twelve wide dots, move each to DONE and locate 12 between 11 and 13 on a 0–20 rail. Empty frame is zero dots. | Toy catalogue seals: Count nineteen broad circles and explain 19 between 18 and 20; 20 is next on rail, not a counted twentieth seal. |
| 192 | Model theatre tags: Seven tags split 2 and 5; recombine 2+5=7. Recognise two/five small groups from visible arrangement if possible. | Paper recipe cards: Nine broad icons split 4 and 5; recombine 4+5=9. Moving one from four to five makes 3+6 but still nine. No real recipe claim. |
| 193 | Pretend display stand: Triangle marker has three straight sides; a broad circle is above fixed BOARD, not above a person. | Paper workshop map: Rectangle label has four straight edges/four corners; a square tile is beside fixed TABLE, not “over there”. |
| 194 | Invented lamp labels: Given “Which icon appears more on this sheet?” Four RAY and six DOT pictures give 6 DOT versus 4 RAY, DOT more by two. | Fictional puppet placards: Given a ten-picture sheet of eight FLAG and two BELL icons, FLAG more by six in the sheet. It says nothing about audience preference. |
| 195 | After-check only, safe paper count: Eleven broad marks versus a false claim twelve; recount shows 11, one below claim. | After-check only, separate picture set: Given four BOAT and seven HILL icons, HILL 7/4, more by three; describe a drawn triangle below fixed WINDOW separately. |
| 196 | Model radio labels: Split eight as 5+3=8; add one to five for 5+1=6 in a separate source. | Gallery sleeves: Start nine broad tabs, remove four visibly; 9−4=5 and five IN plus four OUT checks nine. |
| 197 | Paper ticket border: Repeat LINE–RING twice; next whole unit LINE–RING. A ring has a curved outline. | Fictional stage lights: Repeat TRIANGLE–DOT–DOT twice; next whole unit TRIANGLE–DOT–DOT, not DOT–TRIANGLE–DOT. |
| 198 | One-sheet paper strips: Directly align a printed 140-unit TRACE A and 210-unit TRACE B; B is longer at equal scale. Then sequence MORNING before AFTERNOON. | Drawn park model: Align 170-unit LINE C and 100-unit LINE D from the same start; C is longer. Sequence LUNCHTIME before NIGHT. These are paper lines, not actual paths. |
| 199 | Pretend art folder: Twelve broad labels in groups of three make four groups of three. Separately, given three LOOP and six STRIPE pictures, STRIPE more by three in that drawing. | Fictional ticket tray: Eight broad cards in groups of two make four groups of two. Separately, given six WHEEL and four DOOR pictures, WHEEL more by two on the card sheet. |
| 200 | After-check only, display revisit: Split seven as 3+4, model 2+5=7, repeat STAR–BOX twice and the whole next pair STAR–BOX. Draw two lines of different lengths from one start and name the farther endpoint. | After-check only, puppet labels: Split nine as 6+3, model 8−4=4 with OUT visible, repeat CIRCLE–TRIANGLE twice and next pair CIRCLE–TRIANGLE. Compare fresh same-page straight strips by aligned starts. |
Next moves: If a child knows a numeral but not the source-to-mark trail, use a different small collection and one DONE place. If shape name is correct without a visible feature, trace the boundary on a different outline. If an adult had to supply a mathematical answer, record that and repeat with neutral access on a fresh case. A real listener's feedback is evidence only if someone actually responded; a paper visitor is a model.
