Teacher copy · prompts and answer keys

Teacher copy: This page may include teaching prompts or answer keys. Answer keys in this public library can be viewed by anyone. Give learners a clean prompt, use checks as formative evidence, and change a case locally when prior access matters.

Use available broad paper/pencil, exact spoken/full-word description or a neutral adult reader. Optional circle-A/square-B sound/dash-wait/question-undecided cards and raised aligned six-place rows are adult-prepared from locally reviewed safe broad materials. No purchase, screen, instrument, printer, blade/small-piece handling, required touch/voice/body action or possession. Colour redundant; roles are musical parts, not learner types or rank. See exact alternatives.

A four-step idea begins at shared beat 1; B's four-step copy begins at 3. “Begin” means idea window, even if its first decision waits; it is not necessarily the first audible sound. A local 1–4 maps shared 1–4; B local 1–4 maps shared 3–6. B initial wait 1–2 and A done 5–6 fixed. Windows overlap 3–4; simultaneous planned sounds only where both marks. Copy sound/wait rhythm decisions, not equal timbre/pitch/level/social fairness.

Immediately usable optional quiet making route

Teacher reviews exact familiar short quiet sources/technique/material/space/access/willing makers locally, previews each and agrees stop/pass. A brief comfortable familiar spoken “mm” and B brief comfortable familiar “sh” may be used only when already familiar, suitable, chosen and previewed; no voice strain/pitch matching/required singing. Another approved familiar classroom source may be chosen after exact technique review. No compulsory striking, tapping, clapping, headphones or new body technique. Child can make one part, direct two willing adult makers, silently read/direct cards or pass. Keep each source fixed within take.

  1. Child chooses complete own idea/delayed copy and imagined two-picture/puppet arrival or music-alone use. Agree role/maker/access/comfortable adult pointer through shared 1–6. No fixed required speed.
  2. Rehearse A alone at shared 1–4, then done 5–6. The child may make reviewed accessible short events or direct an adult/silent reader; actual maker recorded.
  3. Rehearse B alone with initial wait 1–2 then the same local four choices at shared 3–6. Compare all corresponding waits as well as sounds.
  4. Try both only if wanted, for six beats once; two willing adults may realize child plan. Simultaneous making highly optional. Adjust access/tempo/pointer support locally, no forced independence or coordination target.
  5. Ask “Keep it, or try once more?” Another short take optional. Save intended score, actual child/adult maker/support/accessible observed rhythm-entry scope and actual willing receiver/audience separately. Adult realization is adult performance; no-sound planning is not performance evidence.

Candidate files/transcripts have a separate human whole-file/device/local-volume gate. Live review does not clear WAVs; file clearance does not approve live sources or establish actual learner sound/performance. Equal event counts do not establish actual willing/fair role experience.

A · Meet an actual teaching model

Present Here Comes Another score, source/full exact access and honest documented purpose. A local 1,3,4, B same local 1,3,4 two shared beats later. Ask what is copied/what children could try. Observed child actual-source response only narrow author-model opportunity, no invented community/performance/effect.

B · My four decisions

Adult practice idea 1,4, four complete sound/wait choices; child makes an own idea and may read/try it once through reviewed source/direct adult/silent reader. Title/use/private/no story all choices. No required prop or public explanation.

C · Give B the later copy

Use copy-later: A 1,4 fixed; B undecided shared 3–6 after two initial waits. Exact copy is B 3,6. Compare all four local correspondences shifted 2, not merely two sounds each. Question cells undecided, adult follows child directions.

D · Two picture or puppet arrivals

Use original broad dot pictures/imagined puppet or music alone. Practice idea 1,3: A 1,3/B 3,5. One planned simultaneous place 3, outer waits fixed. Ask willingness/role preference, choose one-part/optional combined/silent route; equal counts cannot prove actual people found roles fair.

E · One part then another

Maker aid supports complete idea/instruction and short trial. Practice idea 1,3,4: A 1,3,4/B 3,5,6. Rehearse A, B, both highly optional. Keep accessible rhythm/entry observation scoped, no speed/body/fine-motor requirement.

F · Clear instruction and actual source

Revisit actual author-model score/source/purpose, then child gives four choices plus initial two B waits. Practice idea 2,4: A 2,4/B 4,6; first idea step waits, so B window starts 3 but first planned B sound 4. Willing real receiver or labelled MODEL/private option; wider sources use gate.

G · Revise idea and its copy

Save idea 1,4/A 1,4/B 3,6; revise idea 1,3/A 1,3/B 3,5. A removes 4/adds 3; B removes 6/adds 5, outer waits/delay fixed. Child makes another own revision and prefers first/new/both. Counts may change in open making. Fresh checks use other prescribed ideas, kept hidden until first responses.
