Goal: identify N2 as a counterexample to the notebook author's broad pointed-means-animal rule and revise the claim. Proposed codes: AC9SFU01 (model reasoning), AC9SFH01, AC9SFI03. Prepare: exact notebook claim, revision board, Card 144.

Retrieve · 3 min. Keep N1–N4 on the table; say that the notebook author's words are fiction.
Claim · 4 min. Read exactly “Every drawing with a pointed outer part is an animal drawing.” Children identify the word “every.”
Counterexample · 5 min. Compare N2's pointed leaf marks and the author's PLANT DRAWING label with N3's pointed ear marks and ANIMAL PUPPET DRAWING label.
Child revise · 7 min. Card 144 routes name N2 and say “pointed marks appear in both labelled drawing groups; pointiness alone does not settle the author's label.” Record the first unprompted version.
Probe · 4 min. Ask whether N2 proves that all actual plants have pointed leaves. Child says it is one fictional paper drawing.
Exit · 2 min. Save first rule, named counterexample and bounded new statement on separate lines.
