- Welcome · 3 min. “You can choose one big decision today: where marks sit, how big one is, or which way your page goes.”
- Model · 4 min. On unrelated spare paper, describe a fictional paper ferry with a low wide hull and one large round window. Say “this is the adult's idea, not yours and not a real ferry.”
- Together · 5 min. Child changes one adult model feature and tells what new whole picture it could make. Adult follows their directions without saying there is one best layout.
- Child choice · 7 min. Child makes/directs/describes an original image with a chosen whole shape, one scale or orientation decision, and a reason. An optional supplied set of ten broad marks links to Week 11, but another number of marks is fine for this Visual Arts goal. The maths teacher separately observes quantity.
- Notice · 4 min. Record the actual art decision, intention, source status and maker/support. Ask which part is their own choice rather than attributing the teacher's model to the child.
- Close · 2 min. Child chooses private storage, later willing show or discard of a practice plan.
