Both cases are invented and unfamiliar relative to Sources A–F. The teacher-targeted key is a public file, so these are not secure exams. A teacher should change a case if prior access matters. Work on a first independent response before feedback; usual large-text, read-aloud, tactile, AAC, calculator, sign or exact-word scribe access is available. None of the counts represents an actual audience, safety test, product or outcome.

A fictional print team counts 35 paper zine-cover mock-ups. The two variables are drawn cover family and whether an inner line appears unbroken in one invented desk-print check. Its fictional register is:

The same team publishes: “Two-thirds of all covers printed cleanly.” The fine print says it counted only Grid and Arc. One maker judged the print at one unspecified printer setting; no second checker or real reader used a cover.
- Complete row, column and full-register totals; check the grand total twice.
- Calculate the unbroken-line proportion for Grid+Arc only and for all covers. Say which denominator the public sentence mislabels.
- Give one precise method detail or independent check needed to reproduce the print classification, and one reason no reader-access conclusion follows.
- Rewrite the first public sentence with a full-register count and visible limit. You may additionally mention the selected-group count if clearly labelled.

An invented studio made 32 paper timetable-card mock-ups in three shapes. A single fictional paper crop check recorded whether the printed edge stayed inside a drawn margin:

A fictional notice says “Most prototypes passed. Ready to hand to visitors.” In small type it says “Tall and Square designs only”. The note gives no paper stock, print setting, second reviewer or visitor test.
- Find the full-register pass fraction and the Tall+Square only pass fraction. Say which one can support “most” under its precise group name.
- Explain why the notice's first line is overbroad even if its subgroup arithmetic is correct. Name the exact omitted row.
- Write a two-part report for the fictional studio: first-line numerical finding with full denominator; then a cautious decision and a specific next paper check. Keep “no visitor evidence” visible.
- Name one operational control and one independent reproducibility step. State whether writing the plan means the check has happened.
