Learner choices

Goal: revise one part of a smooth phrase so a change becomes noticeable; AC9ADAFD01 and AC9ADAFC01 partial. Prepare: Source D, smooth/change/pause.

  1. Welcome · 3 min. Offer paper line, AAC, broad tactile score or safe chosen movement. No pace or range target.
  2. Read · 4 min. Re-read SMOOTH LINE → CHANGE DIRECTION → PAUSE. Ask which mark carries the change.
  3. Model · 5 min. Adult draws two versions with one changed direction while keeping the opening. Name precisely what changed.
  4. Child choice · 7 min. Day 17 A/B/C revise a line, chosen gesture or marker pathway. A physical trial is optional and individually approved.
  5. Notice · 4 min. Ask the child to point to the changed part and state what it might tell a viewer; actual viewer interpretation remains unknown.
  6. Close · 2 min. Keep both drafts; a change that does not work is useful exploration.
