Read and model · 4 min. Show two original paper scores: a compact curve becomes broad in the same band; a compact curve stays compact but moves to another band.

Try together · 5 min. Place cards on a two-by-two size/height mat. Ask what changed in each score. Accept “both” only when both vary.
