These are public practice checks, not secure exams or QCAA instruments. The adult reads a new fictional source without setting up the answer, offers broad safe physical cards, picture/word/tactile/AAC or child-directed movement, and keeps the first complete response before feedback. You can pass or make a private paper work. No real sign, material result, child story, recording or public performance is required. An invented audience in the drawing is not an actual audience.
Check M · Day 35 · Paper Sorting Shelf
Use the unfamiliar M illustrated A4 source or its exact text/tactile route. This is an invented paper archive. In the first moment, figure P has a broad striped token beside a DESK labelled NOW. The story allows a later moment at a SORTING SHELF; the second frame is deliberately unfinished. No real school sign or system is shown.
- Make two linked scene moments. Keep at least one clear continuity clue from the first frame, and show at least one deliberate change in the second.
- Choose a boundary or cue that would help a viewer know the second moment begins. You can turn a page, place a LATER label, move a divider, or invent another accessible clue.
- Point, move, sign, speak or dictate: “I kept ; I changed ; my viewer could notice ___.” A neutral adult moves pieces only as you direct. An optional short safe enactment is separate from your paper plan.
Save first: both moments, continuity, change, chosen boundary, intended idea and route/help. Keep any later revision beside the first work.
Check N · Day 40 · Paper Repair Table
Use the unfamiliar N illustrated A4 source or its exact text/tactile route. This is a made-up paper stage, not a real repair test. In scene one, figure R is at a TABLE beside a broad card with a ring mark. A later scene can take place by a PARTS RACK; its frame is blank for your choice. Nothing states that a real object was repaired or how R feels.
- Devise two scene moments with a clear shift from TABLE to PARTS RACK. Decide what remains recognisable across them.
- Bring back the ring mark or one deliberate card action in the later moment. Choose its location or action yourself rather than copying an adult placement.
- Show a boundary and tell or indicate one possible idea your scene could communicate. A viewer might read it differently; do not guess the figure's feeling. You may keep your work private or choose a willing approved audience.
Save first: two frames, shifted setting, returning mark/action, boundary, possible intended idea, route and support. Actual sharing is recorded separately only if it happens.
