Specific critique and correction: An early Day 151 warm-up represented the adult word “book” as /b/ /o/ /k/, which mismatched its vowel in common Australian speech. It was replaced with the actually transparent spoken blend /m/ /a/ /t/ for “mat”; adult reads “book”. An early Day 156 child-print strip used “six” despite the narrow taught pool; it was replaced with “a mat”, and quantity words remain adult-read unless locally taught. The Day 155/160 checks were then searched against prior Foundation English teaching pages. The screen mockup is deliberately described as paper, never an operational application.
Still required before a 10/10 field claim: practising teachers review timings and wording with a class, the school checks local/state planning and phonics sequence, children and access teams test response routes, communities author any First Nations language/cultural inclusion, and actual usage is observed before reporting efficacy. The short checks cannot settle a whole-year standard. Do not translate these texts into a language without a qualified review, especially a First Nations language.
