Target/codes: Ask one source-answerable and one missing-detail question about fictional people and record named relationships; AC9HSFS01 and AC9HSFS02 partial.

  1. Settle/purpose · 3 min. Say A is invented and no child's own family needs discussion.
  2. Read source · 4 min. Read the cousin and aunt lines, then point to the three anonymous icons and names. Do not infer more relatives.
  3. Model inquiry · 5 min. Ask “How are Jules and Emi related?” A says cousins. Ask “Who else is in their family?” A does not say.
  4. Child response · 7 min. Child links two names to an exact stated relationship and asks one A-answerable and one A-unanswered question, by pointing, speech/sign/AAC, drawing or adult direction.
  5. Check/respond · 4 min. Record relation and question. If a child supplies a parent/sibling not in A, ask which line names them; none.
  6. Exit · 2 min. Finish “A names ; A does not tell us .”
