All Paper Studio sources are invented. Use the nine A4 pages and exact alternatives or read the source words below verbatim. These drawings are representations, not a real room, travel route, tested design, access audit or current physical observation. Shapes are a map key, not materials. A child-made map is labelled CHILD MODEL; it does not become a new witness to the fictional move.
- A · earlier map by keeper Remy, titled BEFORE THE MOVE: “Paper Studio: circle rug on the left; square making table on the right; triangle basket beside the rug. This is the earlier picture map.” The earlier map has three separate shapes within a room outline. The key names circle = rug, square = table, triangle = basket. It shows an earlier depicted location, not the room's actual current state.
- B · Remy's later keeper note: “Later I moved the basket beside the making table. I have not written down why.” The note is Remy's attributed report of a move. No actual date, material test, reason, safety result or statement about all users is supplied.
- C · undated picture copy, maker/date unknown: “Paper Studio: circle rug on the left; square making table on the right; triangle basket beside the rug. Time not recorded.” The undated copy depicts the same position as A. It might be an earlier copy; the sources do not settle when it was made. Do not declare it false, dishonest or currently accurate from the difference alone.
- D · Tara's later visitor note: “After the move, I found the basket beside the making table. I like it there because I can sort my picture cards.” The note reports Tara's encounter and Tara's own reason. It does not say why Remy moved it, what every visitor prefers or whether a real space is usable/accessibly designed.
- E · helper's proposed map update: “I plan to show the basket beside the table on a new map, using Remy’s and Tara’s notes. I will ask when the undated copy was made.” E appears on the map-update mat. It proposes an update to a picture, not a completed update or physical room change. The child may actually make their own labelled model/map during the lesson; record that child action separately from E's proposal.
Ready in five minutes: two broad paper room bases; fixed circle-rug and square-table outlines; one large movable triangle-basket tile per base; a blank undated-source pocket; A–E source labels; broad BEFORE, LATER, TIME NOT RECORDED, REPORTED MOVE, ONE PERSON SAYS, PLANNED MAP and CHILD MODEL tags; wide attached arrow/flap strips; a pre-folded three-part source trail; blank paper visitor message; time-pockets mat. An adult can draw, fold and attach everything while the learner directs. No cutting, small loose tokens, touch, personal possession, real artifact or device is required. Use school-approved large fixed materials; check edges, adhesives and individual communication supports locally. Shape names and positions are available through exact oral descriptions, raised outlines, sign/AAC and adult-directed arrangement. Do not judge motor speed.
Keep Moss/Harbour check cases out of ordinary practice until Days 145/150. Numbered blank folders on check days have no worked answer headings. The actual-place record and runnable real-place pathway are optional: obtain educator approval and actual sources before replacing a fictional lesson. Do not put learner/location data in this repository.
