These are public practice checks, not secure exams. Your teacher shows a new fictional paper source and reads its exact words. Keep your first child-controlled response before feedback. Choose A/B/C and switch. You can point, sign, use AAC, draw, speak or direct an adult's broad cards. An adult may read or move what you direct without telling you the content answer. You do not need to move your body, lend a personal object, accept touch, describe a private event or explain “no”. A paper plan is a full learning response; any actual movement observation is separate, optional and locally checked.
Check A · Day 5 · Paper Badge Studio
Your teacher gives the new fictional source sheet. It has two short permission exchanges and a one-at-a-time paper work mat. Listen to who asks and what the adult answers.
- Denied permission: Nela asks for a class card. The adult says “not now”. Choose a respectful next line and a different paper option. Is Nela required to explain why she wants the card?
- Given permission: Oru asks about another paper place. The adult says “yes”. Choose a respectful next line. Does a “yes” for that place answer every future request?
- Fair paper turn: One maker's broad marker is on WORK MAT. Show where another marker should stay under the printed rule. Show the source line or label that supports your choice.
All routes answer all three:
- A · Large source cards: sort ASK, ANSWER and NEXT; place the second marker at the correct paper waiting place.
- B · Drawn record: draw two three-box exchanges and mark the other paper marker's place.
- C · Child-directed adult: choose which source lines the adult rereads, then direct broad-card placement and give your own next lines.
After feedback only: Day 5's learner card has a different made-up card story. No real name, family, room or personal boundary is required.
Check B · Day 10 · Paper Patch Gallery
Your teacher gives the new fictional source sheet: a labelled broad paper lane, a one-at-a-time sign and two lines spoken by a puppet and an adult. The printed source does not say anyone actually moved.
- Permission: say what Eli asks and what the adult first answers. Give Eli a respectful next line and choose a paper waiting place. The adult later gives permission to try if Eli wants; is Eli required to take a turn?
- Rule: show how two paper makers can take turns without entering the same lane at once. Use the sign's exact words and a marked place on the paper source.
- Evidence: tell what the page shows and what remains unknown about any real person's movement, space use or following the rule. A child may choose a separate, teacher-approved actual movement trial, but is not required to do so.
All routes answer all three:
- A · Broad pieces: move two large paper maker cards, point to the first adult reply and sign.
- B · Drawn marks: mark the paper wait place, draw two turns and dictate a respectful response/evidence limit.
- C · Child-directed adult: direct the adult's paper marker moves, select exact printed lines and give your own rule.
After feedback only: Day 10's learner card gives a different fictional puppet story. No result about a real class, disability, safety or sign usefulness follows from this paper source alone.
