Scope: internal desk reading, rendered print inspection and mechanical checks on 30 September 2026. No child, school educator, access specialist, First Nations authority or funder has trialled this pack. Audio is still a candidate pending human listening and level approval. These sessions are not formal tests.
Teacher · run Day 53 without equipment
Lay two broad fixed raised four-cell lanes under one row of numbers. Upper reads X REST X REST; lower reads REST X X REST. Move one wide vertical guide from left to right. The child chooses UPPER, LOWER, BOTH and QUIET cards or makes their own legible icon. Six timed stages total 25 minutes. Save the first child key and any actual willing-adult feedback on its readability. Do not mark “heard two tones,” “played together” or Mathematics pattern attainment from cards.
Learner · comfortable route on Day 57
A child who avoids noise or touch points to lower count 3 while a neutral adult, acting only on that direction, puts a broad REST cover there. The upper strip stays fixed. A raised column guide now shows upper alone at 1 and 3, lower alone at 2, quiet at 4. The child can choose cards, AAC, drawing or pass. This accesses the score-revision target; it gives no false claim of acoustic performance or social cooperation.
Check-day independence
Day 55 uses fresh upper REST X X REST and lower X X REST REST; the adult reads lane names but gives no ordered summary. Day 60 uses fresh K/L, asks one lower-cell change, then remaining overlap. Save each first complete response before opening the key or using a worked swap. A helpful hint after that is teaching, not independent check evidence.
Prospective funder or assessor · inspect boundaries
The QCAA crosswalk pins four exact Prep rows and holds the real-work and audience rows until their conditions occur. Six original practice plus two check SVG/PDF sheets have exact text/tactile alternatives; two synthetic cue candidates have event-level transcripts and complete no-sound routes. The generator and SHA-256 manifest make the released files auditable. The rights ledger separates original material from official descriptions and cultural permissions. A passing verifier proves internal consistency and file integrity, not effectiveness, local approval, universal accessibility or funding readiness.
Before classroom use
Educator checks print size, raised-card fabrication, AAC, consent, safe materials, optional sources and sound level on intended devices. Local curriculum and timetables decide placement. If using a real work, obtain appropriate title/maker/context and permissions, including relevant cultural authority. Record genuine child listening, sounding, actual audience receipt and real-source response separately. Classroom pilot feedback, independent access review and translated-language review remain open.
