Ten original, 25-minute sessions for the start of Unit 1: Real-world accounting, Topic 1: Introduction to accounting. The governing document is the QCAA Accounting General senior syllabus 2025 v1.4, March 2026, printed p 12. Start with Day 1, issue the learner pages, and keep the worked teacher key separate until each check is complete.

Each day has a target, exact 2+4+5+7+4+3 timing, one of three same-target routes, two worked optional swaps, short spoken prompts, and an exit answer. Six original A4 visual aids come as SVG and searchable PDF with exact text and tactile equivalents. The example bank crosses services, trading, community and everyday decisions without asking learners to disclose household finances.

This is 250 minutes, not a full 55-hour Unit 1 or Year 11 course. Topic 1 continues beyond this starter; Unit 1 Topic 2 (double entry, GST and software work) is not claimed. The two fresh checks are public, formative, teacher-adaptable tasks, not QCAA school assessment instruments and not secure tests. Schools choose actual unit instruments and report results under the syllabus. QCAA does not endorse this pack.

All named case businesses and figures are fictional. Australian ownership and reporting explanations are bounded by the linked ASIC, business.gov.au, AASB and MoneySmart sources, rechecked 29 September 2026. A public-company authentic source slot identifies a real publisher's 2026 report listing and tells teachers how to check a current annual report without copying it into this open pack. No investment or legal advice is offered. Local teachers must check current rules, report accessibility and student needs before teaching. No classroom pilot, independent accountant review or student outcome study has occurred.
