Australian Curriculum v9 teaching draft · 29 September 2026. Ten additional 35-minute project blocks let learners make and defend a bounded decision for a fictional paper-card event. They read two original source cards, estimate and calculate products, compare a fixed 900-card limit, consider another viewpoint, and create a short visitor-facing recommendation. Book swaps, games, garden models and miniature museums give different life contexts without asking a child to disclose their own life.
Use tomorrow: Keep the existing English and mathematics 25-minute lessons. This project follows them where the timetable allows. On Days 15 and 20, run the subject packs' fresh checks before this guided application. Read the source cards, then the day's teacher sequence. Give out only that day's clean learner card, a blank A4 decision mat or editable SVG, and broad paper counters if useful. A full text/tactile version is provided. The teacher key stays with staff.
Save each learner's first estimate, chosen operation, exact method, supported claim, unexplored question and revision separately. A learner can speak, sign, point, use AAC, type, write or direct an adult's card movement; record the actual support. A read-aloud can establish comprehension of the source but does not prove independent print reading. An answer copied from a partner is useful teaching information, not independent evidence. A voluntary visitor test may be a peer, private adult or explicitly labelled teacher role-play. No public performance, photography, account, purchase, real travel, real family financial detail or student data upload is required.
The exact source-row crosswalk proposes partial Year 5 English and mathematics links. The source/rights ledger, three-role author desk run, hash manifest and pack check make the authored draft inspectable. No state or territory approval, classroom pilot, translation certification, First Nations language authority, learning-impact claim or achievement judgment follows from this pack. Science, HASS, HPE, Technologies, Arts and Languages need their own teaching; this project does not replace them.
