Same musical goal · three access/participation routes each dayFoundation Music · T3 W25–26 · Learner Cards

The target stays the day’s music-planning comparison. The routes adjust how marks are read and placed; they never assign a learner a fixed style or diagnosis. A neutral adult can move pieces only on child direction. Child can stop/pass at any time. No route silently becomes evidence of actual hearing or performed timing.

Day Large-print / drawn route Raised / no-sound route AAC / child-directed route
121 Count four thick event dots, then colour the three separate gap boxes S/M/L. Feel four fixed event discs and 1/2/3 raised spacer blocks; name spaces between starts. Adult reads every dot and spacer; child directs a chosen order using AAC or pointing.
122 Overlay three M bars beneath four identical dots and show equal widths. Put three two-block spacers into broad fixed slots; compare by touch without sound. Child instructs adult “M, M, M” and states or selects “same spacing.”
123 Mark L then M then S below four dots; circle longest first gap. Use a three-, two-, then one-block strip; feel first and last widths. Adult offers two gap cards at each slot; child selects L/M/S and indicates ends.
124 Draw S–M–L under four unchanged event icons; label short first/long last. Feel one-, two-, three-block spacers in fixed left-right order. Child directs a reader to place S/M/L and chooses an own explanation or plain key.
125 Independently compare two unfamiliar four-event printed strips; mark gap evidence. Independently compare corresponding three raised gaps in fixed A/B rows. Neutral adult reads all public marks; child chooses pattern names, first/last evidence and limit.
126 Highlight changed gap cells across two scores; leave event dots unmarked. Match four same textured event discs; swap only broad spacer cards. Child tells adult which columns hold and which gap cells differ; no body action needed.
127 Write PLAN, NOT TESTED and NOT ASKED in three fields until evidence exists. Three separately raised labelled fields keep score and real event apart. Child directs exact source labels; adult does not turn “might hear” into “heard.”
128 Author two three-gap rows under identical four event marks; circle one difference. Compose two fixed raised tracks with replaceable 1/2/3-block spacers. Adult reads options; child directs all six spacer choices and an intended idea.
129 Privately keep, or show a written score to one willing reader. Offer broad raised track for a willing tactile reader only if child chooses. Child chooses audience/no audience via AAC; adult records receipt only if actual.
130 Independently change B's first and last printed gaps; preserve middle and four dots. Replace exactly two raised B spacers in fixed slots; feel A/B and the held middle. Adult reads full public A/B; child dictates B gaps and names both changes without cues.
