Elective senior Business starter. Ten 25-minute lessons introduce a narrow part of QCAA Business General senior syllabus 2025 v1.3, Unit 1 Business creation, Topic 1 Fundamentals of business. The pack supplies 250 minutes (4 hours 10 minutes) of practice, not a 55-hour unit, complete Year 11 course or school assessment instrument. General Business is a chosen subject, not a universal Year 11 requirement. Schools select pacing, authentic cases, assessment and local legal/financial information.
Start here: Use ten teacher scripts, six original fictional practice cases, clean learner pages, three switchable same-target routes each day and optional daily extras. Four original A4 SVG/PDF aids with full text and tactile routes scaffold evidence, life cycle/goals, SWOT and criteria. Days 5 and 10 use fresh public formative checks with a separate public worked teacher key. The key is accessible by URL, so these are not secure exams; replace the prompt locally if prior access matters.
Precise limit: The official crosswalk traces early Topic 1 work in life-cycle description, planning vocabulary, environmental factors, SWOT, key functions and decision criteria. These original fictional cases make repetition and free reuse possible. The official Unit 1 requires authentic case studies; invented cards do not fulfil that requirement. The school must add and verify real sources, full Topic 1/2 coverage, legal ownership structures, leadership styles, a full case-study response and its own assessment. Case figures, competitor notes, venue offers and forecasts are all invented. No card establishes an actual business, law, market, financial return, social impact or customer preference.
Access and privacy: Learners may annotate, move full-word evidence cards, type, dictate or use AAC for the same business reasoning. Routes can change; no fixed learning-style or disability label is assigned. A read-aloud or scribe gives access but does not itself show independent reading; log prompts. No family income, debt, employment, personal spending, business idea or real customer data is requested.
