The original SVGs request system DejaVu Sans. rsvg-convert produced the searchable PDFs with an embedded subset of the installed font, verified with pdffonts. The DejaVu/Bitstream Vera copyright and licence notice accompanies those PDFs. No separate full font file is distributed. An SVG viewer may substitute another sans-serif typeface; the exact text alternative remains available.
