Ten original 25-minute lessons continue the Year 9 opening fortnight's attention to representations, units, domains and model limits. Days 11–15 use numerical integer exponents; Days 16–20 extend laws to variable bases and exponents. This is a partial teaching sequence for one ACARA description, not a complete Year 9 subject plan or a claim that learners have met an achievement standard.

Start here

  1. Read the ten staff lessons and choose the day's fictional model card.
  2. Give learners only the matching clean Day 11–20 page. Each day offers three genuine routes to the same maths goal; access can change from task to task and is not a fixed learning-style label.
  3. Use the 20 short extras and ten no-purchase home routes selectively. They are optional, not homework requirements.
  4. Prepare the three A4 SVG/PDF aids and full text/tactile alternatives. The font and artwork rights are separate.
  5. Use the two fresh Days 15/20 checks as clean learner prompts, then the teacher worked key/next moves after collection. Both are publicly accessible in this library, so they are formative rather than secure tests; change a case locally if prior access matters.

Use and review boundaries

The pinned Year 9 ACARA crosswalk records exact description wording, source row and the narrow actions in this pack. Source and rights distinguish original content, official wording and the external SI-prefix fact. Desk run-through records teacher, learner, accessibility and funder checks, not classroom outcomes. Run python3 verify_pack.py to recheck source, arithmetic, links, assets and the hash receipt.

Read aloud, AAC, Braille, tactile cards, typing and directed scribing can carry a learner's mathematics; log the access and any mathematical hint separately. A reading accommodation does not demonstrate independent print reading. The fictional counts do not prove game uptake, public safety, physical feasibility or local syllabus approval. Ask a qualified local educator to map this sequence to their state/territory syllabus and learners before classroom use. No translation or First Nations language/cultural content is asserted; any such edition needs authorised language/community review.
