Teacher copy: This page may include teaching prompts or answer keys. Answer keys in this public library can be viewed by anyone. Give learners a clean prompt, use checks as formative evidence, and change a case locally when prior access matters.

All media examples here are original geometric picture sequences. L, M and R name positions on paper from this child's viewing side; they are not floor directions. A frame is a boundary around what a viewer can see. Change one visible feature at a time so the child's idea is inspectable. Broad fixed cards, high-contrast labels, raised outlines, drawing and neutral scribing all work. See exact text/tactile alternatives. No child image, recording, upload or device is requested.

A · Three frames show a move

The same SQUARE token appears at LEFT, then MIDDLE, then RIGHT in three equal frames. This order suggests a move across a fictional paper stage; nothing actually moves on screen. A child may choose a return ending instead. A three-frame path.

B · Order can reverse the story

Two images: EMPTY BOX, then SQUARE IN BOX may suggest a square arrives. Reverse them: SQUARE IN BOX, then EMPTY BOX may suggest a departure. The images stay; only their order changes. No viewer reaction is guaranteed. B reverse-order cards.

C · A frame can include or leave out context

WIDE frame shows a SQUARE and CIRCLE together; CLOSE frame shows only SQUARE inside the drawn crop. It is the same invented paper scene represented by two selections. The cropped-out circle still exists in the planned wider scene; it is simply outside the close frame. C crop frames.

D · Caption can point to a detail

The image has the same SQUARE and CIRCLE in both versions. Caption LOOK AT SQUARE or LOOK AT CIRCLE changes the intended attention while the image holds. This is a fictional caption, not a universal instruction or measured audience gaze. A child may use a symbol/point rather than print reading. D caption focus.

E · The ending can change

Start with SQUARE at LEFT, then MIDDLE. Choose an ending at RIGHT or return to LEFT. The first two frames stay; only frame 3 changes. A child tells which ending better suits their invented paper game/story. E ending choice.

F · Maker, work and audience

Child selects three original frame positions and a short optional caption. Log the child's own choices, the actual willing recipient if shared, and whether the work was merely rehearsed with a puppet or passed. No photograph, voice recording or online publication is needed. F maker/share log.

Fresh G/H are new public check sources in learner checks, with answers in a separate teacher key. Do not rehearse their exact starting source before first response. This pack's simple shapes are not a replacement for real media made by people and communities.
