Method: align endpoints for length; use a checked equal-arm balance or matched-container heft route for mass. Do not infer mass from size, colour or material label. Preflight the exact physical sets; if a balance gives a different result, repair or relabel the set before teaching rather than scoring against a fictional expected outcome. One card means one invented recorded response in Week 28; no actual child is surveyed by default. A real voluntary, anonymous object question needs local consent, opt-out and storage/retention procedure. Never infer class preference from fictional data or an absent respondent.
Access: large safe pieces, tactile edges, described bars, equal-sized containers, guided touch by choice, child-directed adult placement, visual/AAC/sign/voice responses. A learner can compare through a described/directly felt arrangement, with access support recorded. Adult reading of categories is not a mathematics error. No named child, voice/photo, home object, purchase or device is required.
