Learner choices

Goal/codes: Describe an actual art response and choose revision/retention. Partial AC9AVAFD01, AC9AVAFC01; conditional AC9AVAFE01 / AC9AVAFP01.

Prepare: Child work/plan, willing adult/peer if available, optional authorised actual maker work, making-record.

  1. Invite and choose · 3 min. Ask whether to show quietly to available willing viewer or review privately. No public performance/positive feedback required. Confirm agreed scope.
  2. Encounter · 4 min. If locally prepared, show actual maker's original rubbing/collage and ask how/why that maker uses art. Record maker/date/actual purpose. Without authentic encounter keep E01 unobserved. A diagram is not a physical rubbing.
  3. Explore response · 5 min. Viewer describes what they notice without maker hints. Record exact words/pointing, including “cannot tell.” With no viewer, child describes own visible choice; label SELF-REVIEW.
  4. Make/direct · 7 min. Child revises placement/title/contrast or keeps art with reason. Willing recipient may receive private postcard with agreed consent; otherwise keep it. Record real sharing/receipt/maker, not invented approval.
  5. Notice and next · 4 min. Connect feedback/self-review to decision. Pass/no viewer is not failure. Do not infer place-care success, outdoor health benefit or community values from comments.
  6. Clear and close · 2 min. Store work/private response/status. Preview fresh Z without showing source or answers.

Look/listen for: reason tied to actual response or honest self-review. No real sharing means audience NOT OBSERVED. One original artwork encounter cannot establish community-wide arts importance.
