Ready for a teacher to review: 20 25-minute English lessons, 20 25-minute mathematics lessons and 20 35-minute integrated sessions through Week 4, with original reading/data sheets, printable aids and keyed formative checks. Days 11–20 also have 50 optional short blocks across five areas. These are bounded periods, not a full school-day program. The 40-week map offers a route for future development; Weeks 5–40 are planning prompts only. This is not a complete Year 10 curriculum, a certification of achievement or a deployed local syllabus.

Start here as a teacher

  1. Confirm the Year 10 curriculum version/timing adopted by your school, local sequencing, class prior knowledge, laboratory risk procedures, child data rules and individual adjustments. In Years 9–10, access to Economics and Business is determined by school authorities or schools under the ACARA HASS structure; check that Week 2 is locally selected before timetabling it. The national codes are a starting point; no state or territory overlay has been verified for this pack.
  2. For Days 1–10, read the opening daily overview, its fictional English texts, maths teacher notes and answers. Distribute the clean learner reading set, English task cards, maths data cards and Week 2 source cards when scheduled. For Days 11–20, use the new English, mathematics and integrated inquiry guides, with a locally suitable optional five-area block. Keep learner handouts separate from teacher explanations. English and maths each take 25 minutes; integrated inquiry takes a separate 35-minute block. A school with longer periods can extend discussion, practice or independent reading without pretending the scripts cover the full timetable.
  3. Print the A4 scatterplot frames, cost comparison board and claim-check aid. Each has an SVG version and complete selectable text alternative. Paper, pencil and a ruler suffice; optional digital plotting should remain local and accessible.
  4. Use the opening English and mathematics keys, then the later packs' teacher keys, to plan feedback and new rechecks. Answers and checks in this public library are accessible to anyone, so they are formative prompts, not secure exams; change a case locally if prior access matters. Everyone attempts daily exits; closely observe a rotating two or three learners. Schedule later short conferences when a shared result hides independent reasoning. Mark not yet observed rather than guessing.
  5. Use the task-specific access and extension menu. Offer choices in access route, not fixed learner labels: selectable text, exact adult reading, enlarged print, tactile axes, spoken/typed/AAC response and partner-operated tools under the learner's direction. Preserve the target concept and record support used. A qualified local interpreter or approved source is needed for translated teaching material; no translation is supplied here.

Boundaries that matter

Extra practice and transfer: Eight learner cards across library, audio, path, garden, print, music, exhibition and community-event contexts have a separate teacher key. Use one after core teaching or as a later unfamiliar recheck; the scripted 25-minute periods do not assume every card is completed. Publicly available checks are formative, so choose an unfamiliar item when a learner has already seen a prompt.

All cart trials, route pairs, media posts, quotations and device prices are fictional and original. Cart accelerations are simulated, not measured; the sheet gives no wheel-finish comparison. The device plans are simplified invented figures, not offers or advice. Do not collect students' personal finances or publish their work/voice through this pack. No actual lab activity, purchase or survey is required. If a school adds real apparatus, contracts, fieldwork or current sources, its educators must check safety, accessibility, methods, provenance and rights first. The texts make no invented First Nations cultural claim or language; authorised local relationships and sources are needed for that work.
